摘要

In order to conduct the health monitoring of composite material structures and to realize the adaptive structures of strength, the adaptive composite material structures have been formed by using embedded sensors and actuators which integrate with external processor. The sensor network of the structures consists of optical fiber elements, and the damage of the structures is identified with artificial neural network (ANN). The capability of the adaptive change of local structural stress distribution is performed by the embedded shape memory alloy(SMA) actuators.
