This paper analyzes regenerative reheating furnace's advantages of structure and temperature curve of first. Based on the heat radiation and conduction analyses, a billet temperature prediction model by two- dimension unsteady heat conduction method is designed. System structure of furnace temperature control based on this model are also presented. A simulation example is give to verify the model and corresponding control system structure.
