摘要

During the last decade, single mode (TEM00) diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers have gained widespread application in micromachining of various materials including polymers, ceramics, semiconductors, and metals. Commercial systems with output powers of up to 40 W at 1064 nm, 20 W at 532 nm, 10 W at 355 nm, and 3 W at 266 nm, pulse repetition rates of up to 80 MHz, and pulse durations between 100 fs and 200 ns are now being used in numerous industrial applications such as semiconductor scribing, precision marking, via drilling, PCB structuring, stereolithography, disk texturing, resistor trimming, and memory repair. This paper will give an overview of the state of the art of single mode DPSS lasers and their selected applications in industrial micromachining.
