The nonlinear wavelets via lifting scheme proposed recently are introduced in this paper. In the paper we mainly discuss these propositions, and compare their principles like the stage of adaptation, the adaptive operator, preservation of the vanishing moments, the decision factors, the edge-located method etc. At last we conclude and propose our own adaptive lifting scheme.
