The emergence of nanomaterials provides a new idea to improve the properties of rubber and it also puts forward a higher request for the mixing technology at the same time. A new type of six-wing various clearance mixing technology (VCMT) synchronous rotors were designed in the paper. By the contrastive experimental study with four-wing synchronous rotors and six-wing synchronous rotors, the results showed that the new six-wing VCMT rotors consumed less energy, lower discharging temperature,higher dispersion of nanomaterials and mechanical properties with the same premises. The new six-wing VCMT Synchronous Rotors is suitable for the quick mixing operation and mixing of nanomaterials and that will be widely used in the future.
