As an important member of automobile industry in China, Changan Automobile Co. Ltd, in face of trend towards automobile industry worldwide, has highlighted the light weight of automobile and R & D on its parts made of magnesium alloy since "10th five-year plan". IntroductionChangan Automobile is a large scale enterprise, supervised by China Weapon Equipment Group. Founded in 1862, it has witnessed a history of 145 years which was full of turns and twists, ups and downs. And it has developed, from earliest industrial pioneer, into one of the top four automobile giants in China. With headquarters in Chongqing, it, the largest producers for both automobiles and engines, has 40000 workers and staff, and owns 10 plus vehicle plants, such as Changan Suzuki and Changan Ford Mazda, 3 engine plants, and 3 listed companies, with annual capacity of one million cars/ engines.
