As China pulverized coal injection ratio and mixed coal injection levels of blast furnace operation continue to increase, however, there is no uniform standard for mixed coal injection technology at home and aboard, therefore further refinement mixed coal blending and optimization are required. In this paper, to optimize the properties evaluation indicators system of pulverized coal, seven coals had been selected and their injection properties was measured independently, the seven coals' 15 kinds of injection properties, including calorific value, igniting point, combustibility, recativity, explosibility, grindability, etc. were analyzed through multidimensional scaling analysis, then combine the multidimensional scaling space matrix and coal proximate and elementary analysis to establish coal blending optimization model. Laboratory and industry experiment was conducted for verification, it may provide some guidance for the further development of pulverized coal injection technology.
