Operating parameters and its function of self-designed Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC) are tested, under the condition of normal pressure and temperature, anaerobic environment, with artificial wastewater as the substrate, and different redox solution as catholyte in this paper. The results shows that the operating cycle of MFC is about 30 days, and after adding new fuel substrate, the voltage will return the stable voltage; the output voltage of the MFC reaches 0.75V, the output power is 2100mW/m~2 when the Ferricyanide used as electron receiver; and the output voltage 1.023V and the output power 2638mW/m~2using permanganate as electron receiver.
