The Reduction of PCDD/F Emission in Sinter-Making Process

Dioxin is so far the most potential carcinogen which people have been finding. Although it has lower concentration in circumstance, it will lead to pathologic changes to human. For iron and steel industry, dioxin is produced mainly in sinter-making process. This paper briefly introduced the creation mechanism of dioxin in sinter-making process, and discussed how to decrease the amount of dioxin from these two aspects: deduction of its generation, and reduction of dioxin which already exists. And the paper also analysed the methods of EOS, Eposint, MEROS which are practical for educing dioxin.
