The paper introduces the advancement of hot blast stove technology in China and basic principles for elevating the blast temperature. In recent years, good results have been achieved by using 100% blast furnace gas as the fuel, elevating the dome temperature, and strengthening the heat exchange of hot blast stove to reduce the maximum dome temperature and blast temperature.
