A method for very large array CCD image composing and buffering is discussed in this paper. A large array CCD imager always has multi-tap outputs and transferred synchronously. The different parts of CCD image must be composed to a whole for better postprocessing and displaying. The source is a 10K x 10K.x 12 bit image,which is divided into five parts and transferred synchronously with Camera Link Full mode. The clock frequency of each part-is 50MHz and the total peak speed is 250MHz. After composed,it is buffered by Ping Pongbuffer and output by Camera Link Base connector The output is a single data stream with 80MHz data rates.
