摘要

We are using many products and accessories in order to exchange information with the four corners of the planet. Thus, the flow of information and quantity are increasing, and a deep need for data storage has been felt by companies. Indeed the amount of information that must maintain a society for its survival is such (environmental information of the company internal and external), if it wishes to keep pace with the times, it is mandatory for this investing in information technology solutions, particularly in systems management and support. The high cost of turnkey e-commerce solutions has kept many small businesses out of this lucrative loop. In this paper, we demonstrate that classroom development of pilot e-commerce applications can play an important role in the training of students as well as engaging the local small businesses in this state-of-the-art technology. A generic web application with sufficient flexibility and functionality has been developed for a real-world online store. The development has been done in a manner that it can be used as an effective tool to teach the e-commerce concepts coupled by simple database design techniques in a classroom environment.
