Performance management, as the core of human resource management in enterprises, is always given high priority. Due to the congenital deficiency from historical conditions and misunderstanding in development process, there have been various problems in the practice of performance management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This paper will discuss the main problems existing in the performance management and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
