Influences of repetitive laser energy on shock wave boundary layer interaction in Mach 1.9 flow has been investigated experimentally. Double-cone models with various configurations were used in this study. In the case of without using laser energy, the Schlieren movies show several of flow characteristics with different separation states and interaction intensity. Besides, by performing FFT of these Schlieren images in each case, the characteristic frequencies of instability with different scale also are found. Furthermore, in the case of using high repetitive laser energy, flow separation and its impacts are suppressed, whereas the shock system is stabilized.
