摘要

Modernization of existing and deployment of new GNSS constellations requires re-evaluation of current integrity monitoring schemes. The baseline ARAIM algorithm, which is being developed to become the next-generation standard method to ensure enough confidence in the computed position, requires significantly higher computational effort than the current integrity monitoring methods. This paper presents a method which greatly reduces this complexity while preserving the original performance in terms of protection levels. That is achieved by creating sub-solutions that cover several fault-modes at the time, reducing the total number of sub-solutions to be assessed. Moreover, an additional method to streamline a different extensively used part of the ARAIM algorithm is introduced.
