In order to improve the quality of the cigarette level,this paper mainly discussed the use of the Xbar-R control chart to the process control of the cigarette physical measurement index (circle/weight).The article talks from the current quality control situation of a cigarette factory and with the help of Minitabl5 software tools it discusses the selection of the sampling frequency,the sample size selection and the calculation of the control limits.Through establishing the effective controlling control chart,we want to reach to the process of production timely monitoring.
