摘要

The Flower Festival is a traditional festival which has been held three times in the Xixi National Wetland Park of Hangzhou, and each has its own characteristics. The 2013 Flower Festival boasts many kinds of species and various forms. 92 types of herbaceous flowers involve 32 families and 59 genuses. This paper aims to analyze and summarize the application characteristics and types of herbaceous flowers of the flower bed, flower border, and three-dimensional greening, and list 2 to 3 kinds of new plant species which are used in the 2013 Flower Festival. Through a targeted analysis of different application forms, this paper sums up the application characteristics of flowers in the 2013 Flower Festival of Xixi National Wetland Park of Hangzhou, and provides reference for other Flower Festivals and urban landscape greening in the future.
