Laser Doppler Profile Sensor (LDPS) is a promising technology, which is developed basing on a Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) with both the transverse velocity of the object passing the measurement volume can be measured. To realize more precise evaluation of systematic errors and the improvement of the velocity measurement accuracy, a new calibration method-Four Points Method--is proposed in this article, which is considered as the calibration technique with smaller estimated uncertainty on velocity calibration, better operability and less time consuming comparing with the current calibration method of LDPS.
