摘要

Preliminary data indicates that PB-EPCs from CAD patients exhibit similar adhesive properties to HAECs on SMCs and FN-coated glass. PB-EPCs appear to be larger than HAECs on FN-coated surfaces, which is consistent with previously published results (1). Spreading of PB-EPCs and HAECs after 24 hours will be evaluated on FN-coated glass and SMCs to determine if PB-EPCs are larger than HAECs overall. In addition to the preliminary short-term flow experiments performed, retention after short-term flow will be evaluated at a greater range of supraphysiological shear stresses.
