In direct microwave holographic imaging, conventionally, wideband data is required to obtain range resolution. However, acquisition of wideband data requires large antennas and complex electronic circuitry. Besides, in wideband imaging, the results are prone to errors due to the dispersive properties of the media. In this paper, we demonstrate the possibility of using single frequency microwave data and an array of receivers to achieve range resolution. This paves the way towards developing 3D holographic microwave or millimeter wave imaging systems using single frequency data.
