The relationship between the energy of a high-speed proton when impacting on the N-4 nuclear emulsion plane perpendicularly and its range in the emulsion was investigated using classical SRIMMonte Carlo program and curve fitting method. A definite analytic expression was derived from this simulation with satisfactory residuals. This result has its significance for the prediction of experiments.
