There are good reasons that no one has built an Alaska North Slope natural gas pipeline project. Today's and tomorrow's decisions should not be based on settling the score for past alleged sins. The market does not care that Alaskans are resentful and frustrated over the lack of a gas line. Market and investors see a state that needs to get its fiscal act together and end years of divisiveness.
