The potential output and output gap are important reference variables in the economic cycle fluctuations, many methods are applied to estimate them isolated. This paper provides an improved method based on synthetically fuzzy entropy evaluation. The method generates different estimated results into universe of discourse, take partial iterative replacement formula to calculate the membership function value, and determine the optimal one, let it be the final estimated results of China's potential output or output gap.
