By using a set of non-dimensional parameters, the governing equations about the thermal analysis of plate heat exchangers (PHE's) are derived in this paper. A universal program compiled can deal with different arrangements so as to solve the temperature distribution of the fluid. Based on the results, the (ε-NTU, R) and (F ～ NTU, R) diagrams are processed, and the influence of the flow maldistribution is also discussed.
