摘要

The aim of the present work is to propose a realistic mechanism of heat transfer in the turbulent boundary layer and to relate it to the effect of bursting on the heat transfer from the wall to a fluid. The detailed data on the temperature field on the wall surface, under various flow conditions, are presented. The latter includes the perturbation of the near wall flow by macro-scale particles, ribs, generation of surface waves, adding surfactants, etc. Possible ways to enhance the heat transfer are discussed.
