Nb_3Sn superconducting wires coated with either Nb, Ta, or KBI40 have been fabricated using a co-processing technique. After reaction, strand-strand contact resistances were measured under various contact presures at liquid helium temperature. Contact resistivities of these clad materials were evaluated. Frictional aging effects of the cladding materials on the contact resistance were also investigated. Rubbing friction was applied to strands contacting each other in liquid helium. The contact resistances obtained with various cladding materials are discussed in comparison with the chrome plating.
