摘要

In the production process of,the billet should be heated to certain temperature before hot extrusion by induction heating.In this paper,the possible effect factors including liners,magnetic flux concentrator (MFC) for tube billet Joule heat generation are studied using numerical method.Through analyzing the permeability,the dimension and the position of MFC,it is found that the usually used magnetic flux concentrator can increase the temperature on the end of the billet.It is also found that the stainless steel liners have little effect on the Joule heat generation along circumferential direction.
