Monoethanolamine (MEA) is an organic amine solvent,which has strong alkalinity in ethanolamine series solvent,it has a good absorbency for sulfureted hydrogen,hydrogen cyanide and carbon dioxide of coke oven gas,in the mean time monoethanolamine can absorb the organic sulfide like COs and CS2 in gas,so it has a high efficiency in gas desulfurization and dehydrogenation,especially the acidity gas produced with the MEA process,which provide the important chemical fundamental for the following acid making process.The article combines it with the WSA direct acid making process which was developed by TOPSOE,Denmark company,and studies the production running status of the MEA-WSA desulphurization and acid making process.The combined process has a very important meaning for the optimization of the coke oven gas desulphurization and acid making process; it sets an example for the recycling economy of the coking enterprise.
