SID is a Swiss manufacturer providing equipment for the treatment of waste, in particular special (hazardous) waste used in some cases as substitute fuels for incineration processes or for the production of clinker. Needed in production of clinker: material and energy. 1. Waste = material and energy. 2. Material extracted from the waste: most of the time unsorted, unselected and not reusable into conventional production processes without prior transformation. Therefore a pre-selection and a pre-treatment of waste is necessary. 3. Energy extracted from the waste: reusable after chemical degradation (composting, fermentation, oxydation, incineration and / or co-generation).
