In August 2011, Browns Ferry (BFN) called out a Station Identified Finding (SIF) related to initial license candidate throughput (50%) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) examination pass rate (53%) in the initial licensed operator training program. Since implementation of several measures to improve candidate preparation and the quality of NRC examination products, the station has achieved dramatic improvement in throughput and NRC examination pass rate.
