The use of decay curve fitting has been demonstratedunder general conditions to provide rapid conservative TRUactivity estimation in aerosol sampling and assay for radonprogeny mitigation. Extended counting times up to 2 hourswere shown to improve both accuracy and precision. Countintervals as low as 30 min were shown to have lower qualityfit results overall but still demonstrated conservative results.
