摘要

A new kind of water patch antenna for omnidirectional radiation pattern is proposed and designed. Different from the previous water patch antenna model, this kind of water patch antenna is completely made of distilled water except for the feeding probe. Results show that an impedance bandwidth of 40.5% for SWR <; 2, a gain up to 4.8 dBi at maximum radiation direction and omnidirectional conical beam with small crosspolarization and symmetrical radiation pattern can be achieved.
