This paper addresses the performance analysis as well as the simulation results of two conformal arrays (one with dual patch antenna elements and the other includes quadruple patch antenna elements) on the human trunk. The conformal array with 2 patch antenna elements on the human trunk resonates near 0.90 GHz and 2.526 GHz and the one with 4 elements on the human trunk resonates at 2.499GHz. Inset fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna is used as each element in an array. Two different substrate materials are used for the two arrays. Single layered human muscle tissue properties at 2.45GHz has been used here as the human trunk. The conformal antenna with dual patch antenna elements gives value of Specific absorption rate (averaged over 10g of tissue): 8.65 W/kg and the conformal antenna with quadruple patch antenna elements gives value of Specific absorption rate (averaged over 10g of tissue): 0.936 W/kg when both antennas have worn on the human trunk. Two array antennas including the human trunk impact have been simulated using commercial software CST microwave Studio 2014.
