The invention discloses a method for recognizing a building plan drawing room based on contour filtering. The method uses image correlation algorithms to identify all the contours on the drawing, and then screens all the detected contours on the drawing, using some filtering rules to exclude Some interference contours that do not meet the requirements, so as to filter out the contours of the room that are most likely to be used, and use external rectangles to represent them. Finally, continue to use some filtering rules (such as non-maximum suppression algorithm) to filter the rectangular frame to obtain the rectangular frame most likely to be the room. This method has a certain generalization ability for the room identification of plane architectural drawings, that is, it can identify rooms on different types of architectural plan drawings, and provides a new method for the room identification of architectural plan drawings.
