In the United States one in four companies ha has brought outsourced functions back in s in-house and nearly half have failed to see the cost savings they anticipated from outsourcing, according to a study by Deloitte Consulting. Some companies even do not ask themselves the fundamental question for outsourc outsourcing. In this research we tried to evaluate the outsourcing benefits and its underlying risks in the context of some US companies from three different businesses. SWOT analysis was done to find the best candidate of outsourcing. This analysis seems to be a useful tool for US companies before to go any functional outsourcing.
