In this paper, three kinds of membrane bioreactors were studied simultaneously. One was traditional hollow fiber membrane bioreactor, and the other two were precoated dynamic membrane and un-precoated dynamic membrane reactors, respectively. The membrane fouling was especially studied. According to the experiment results, it was found that the operating pressure of precoated dynamic membrane rose up to 6Kpa after 1128 hours of operation, while the flux of precoated membrane was able to keep a high value. Furthermore, just after being cleaned by brushing, the fouled membrane's flux could recover totally and it did not consume any chemical reagent. Moreover, it was also discovered that the precoated membrane could prevent the biomass contaminations diffusing from the surface to the internal through the study of scan electron microscope (SEM).
