摘要

In graphic science education, numerous attempts have been made to evaluate enrolled students' ability to recognize graphic spatial information to clarifying educational effects of a certain class. This paper discusses a method making use of simple three-dimensional figures consisting of unit cubes. The author developed this method in order to evaluate students' projection-conversion ability essential to three-dimensional graphic design. In this method, students were shown orthogonal views and instructed to select their corresponding isometric views. Results of evaluation using this method were compared with the results of the students' self-evaluation about their own abilities and complexity level of used three-dimensional figures.
