Study on Twin-shaft Vibratory Mixing Concrete Techniques

It is well known that vibration intensity and working reliability of equipments and concrete mixing quality are hard to be ensured at the same time during the concrete vibratory mixing process. To solve this problem, authors in this paper, put forward a new twin-shaft vibratory mixing technique. It is pointed out that the reasonable vibratory mixing scheme should use mixing shaft and blades as vibration source, and combine vibration with forced mixing. By means of test research, authors discuss reasonable mixing parameters and vibratory parameters, and compare vibratory mixing with ordinary forced mixing. The test results indicated that this kind of vibratory mixer needs smaller vibration intensity and has higher functional reliability and durability than the former techniques, and obviously improves mixing quality of concrete.
