摘要

South-east Asian countries had gradually accepted and implemented policies to attract foreign investments, as Chinese “one belt one road” strategy further developed. Foreign capitals had a strong influence on national economic development. The relationship of Institutional distance, investment model and performance are a value topic to research. This paper is dedicated to review the case of China to Myanmar agricultural investment, questionnaire survey be used to construct a conceptual model and hypothesis of institutional distance perceive influence on transnational business model and performance. Business model and performance are verified separately by the Logitech and the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The influence of institutional distance on investment model and performance between China and Myanmar will be presented. The result shows that, based on a certain institutional distance, institutional distance perceive of enterprises are different, which effects investment model and business performance. The greater cultural perceive distance, the more Chinese enterprises tend to independent investment. The greater political institutional distance, the more Chinese enterprises prefer stock cooperation investment. In term of investment performance, financial institutional distance has a strong influence.
