Aircraft interiors contain decorative laminates, like wallpaper, that provide stain resistance, are easily cleaned, and are textured to diffuse reflected light. Polyvinyl fluoride film is the most common outer layer of the decorative laminate. The material that accepts and holds the texture in itself, and in the PVF film, is the embossing resin. This resin or film must also allow the decorative laminate to be heated and vacuum formed around curved surfaces while maintaining the texture of the emboss pattern.
