摘要

Large eddy simulation (LES) is a powerful tool to study airflow in and around buildings. The present investigation uses a non-eddy viscosity subgrid scale model to study airflow around a round building (a cylinder) and in an office. Fast Fourier transformation (FFT) method and the cycle elimination method (CEM) are employed to reduce the computing time. The computed results agree reasonably with the measured data and other numerical results.
