摘要

In multisatellite multibeam satellite systems interference represents one ofrnthe most limiting factors both in terms of link availability and capacity. Thus thernneed of an accurate interference analysis and characterisation arises.rnA software tool conceived to analyse non-GEO satellite systems has been developedrnand utilised to characterise geometrical and orbital parameters and to evaluate thernimpairments due to cochannel interference for different access techniques.rnThe paper presents the methodology and the main achievements of the workrnperformed with particular regard to interference and capacity constraints.
