Dfifered climatic conditions do have a critical influence on the capacity of activated carbon filters against hazard contaminants. It is well known that the adsorption capacity of non-mpregnated charcoal for organic vapours is reduced by high temperature and relative humidity levels. Especially, impregnated carbons could have an even greater negative effect against organic vapours than non impregnated charcoals or also could have a positive effect for inorganic gases during use.
