The use of charcoal has been existing from 150. B.C. onward in Egyptian Payrusin medicines but actually from the Hippocrates time, it could be used commercially from 1793 onward. With the advancement of technology activated carbon become vital product of charcoal; but these days it is a very vital tool of chemical industires. Almost in every chemical industry, its use is centain irrespective of its shape and size through Powered Activated Carbon (PAC) Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and Carbon Fibres (CF).
