anti wear, anti oxidant, anti friction and anti corrosion additives. Synthesis of three MR grease (MR Grease-1, MR Grease -2 and MR Grease -3) with different compositions is described in the present paper and their sedimentation stability i.e. separation of oil from grease and MR effect produced by them i.e. change in their consistency with change of magnetic field are reported. Results show good sedimentation stability and significant variation in the consistency of on application of magnetic field for all three synthesized MR greases. Therefore synthesized MR greases can significantly change dynamic behavior of the mechanical devices by controlling external magnetic field.
