摘要

As intercalation compounds are often made of a host with soft bondings or with structural holes, metal clusters can be incorporated with, or without, the help of external constraints like electrochemistry or high pressure added to the internal chemical one. Here, we will present cluster properties, pertinent for this intercalation equilibrium. Then a more detailed study of light alkaline clusters in graphite, C_(60) and disordered carbons will be presented.
