摘要

Reinforced retaining wall has been widely used in permanent retaining structure.This paper aims at developing analytical solutions for estimating the ultimate bearing capacity of strip footings on reinforced retaining wall considering the different facing rigidities.A general failure mode which was two-wedge block is assumed based on the results of the previous model tests.Based on the upper bound theorem of traditional plastic limit analysis,one beating capacity formulas is developed for strip footings on reinforced-sand retaining wall under front loading.The proposed solution is validated and it is in good agreed with the test results obtained from the physical model experiments.
