摘要

Safety, Reliability, and Maintainability have become major factors to be considered forrnfuture aircraft development. The utilisation of feedback information from in-servicernaircraft has increased significantly in order to improve safety, reliability, and reducernmaintenance costs. Feedback information could also be utilised by aircraft designers andrnmaintenance personnel for future aircraft design. However, most of the information isrndistributed over many different publications which make it very difficult for designers tornlocate the necessary information. The aim to this paper is to investigate the informationrncontained in various existing sources of aircraft in-service feedback information and thusrnoffer better references for future research and implementation. This paper proposesrnmethodology to use of information from the feedback systems for aircraft maintainability.rnThe potential benefits expected from this research are improved Design forrnMaintainability and Service (DfMS) development and an alternative solution for DfMSrnprediction.
