Hindered phenols and phosphites have been used as synergistic blends for years to stabilize polymers, especially polyolefins. Recently other additives have been promoted to give synergy with phosphites and hindered phenols. In this paper we give the results and benefits of using blends of phosphites with other additives such as antioxidants, HALS, and lactones.
