摘要

A novel adaptive time-encoding imaging system, MATADOR,has been built with dual particle, neutron and gammaray, imaging for nuclear nonproliferation applications. MATADORis a cylindrical time encoded imaging system where thedetector is affixed to a 2D linear stage such that it can movethe any position inside the mask during data acquisition. Additionally,the mask rotation speed can be adaptively changingduring measurement. Preliminary reconstructed images showpromising results with a FWHM of 13.8° for gamma imagesand FWHM of 10.3° for neutron images. Future work willexplore the benefits of adaptive imaging in terms of improvedimage resolution and decreased time to image.
